I love msn

and it's no nonsense algo. It updates frequent and seems to validate real content.

Not being biased cause I am #4 and 5 for " real estate forum " after only a month but I like it when hard work pays off and quality supercedes.

I hear ya man, I have my own personal MSN bot on my sites!

And ranking exceptionally well. Do the core things you've always heard about SEO and it's very rewarding. Sure wish google would get things back to normal. Or more people start using MSN!

 

no kidding, I hope msn will be on top at this point ... even though I myself am still using G ... the power of habits

 

Last week I got top ranking for dvd player, for one of my blog. They are working on it, but it's coming up good.

 

MSN is really easy to SEO for. Always has been.

I just wish they would make their search box a little wider.

 

I am #1 for every main keyword I have targeted. Incredible...

 

Yeh ... it beats waiting for a domain name to break the real estate filter or sandbox

 

One example: for one of my sites I am #1 for my main keyword at MSN, #7 at Yahoo, and #1,987,564 at Google.

Best thing is that people continue to focus their SEO on Google... I am so glad, they leave the path clear for me.

 

A #1 position on Google is about 5X more valuable one on msn (for me).

 

Good luck getting it... meanwhile I will continue getting #1s at MSN.

 

no reason why you can't maintain a #1 on msn and work on google. if you are seo'ing your site and trying to achieve g ranking ... chances are you're already top of the fold on msn. if not then you're doing something majorly wrong.

 

some of my sites have good positions on msn, better in yahoo, but struggling on google (they just so slow to update).

 

Google can kick you out from one day to the other. I had every single keyword I was targeting in the top 10 at Google. Thanks to the recent update, I am gone. And I mean GONE, I get a big fat cero amount of visitors fro Google now. Screw that stupid engine, they change their f*kin algo every time they feel like it.

Google has dominated our thinking and our actions for very long. And the reason was they dominated the web with quality. Now it is coming to an end. All my bets are on msn.

 

I just hope that the traffic at MSN keeps growing, but their current algo stays just as it is... I will be a rich man if this happens...

 

Yes, it's very rewarding to see that SEO work is quickly reflected in MSN.

It seems like when SEOing for Google, webmasters must wait several months before noticing a slight change. MSN is a welcomed breath of fresh air.

 

You need to look at it from a user perspective as well. If it's *too* easy to manipulate results, it will be spammed to hell in no time, which will render it useless to the general user.

 

I would just like to point out this thread from a couple of months ago, when people were being asked whether or not they would use the new MSN search if it was released...
