I noticed Googlebot and MSN bots crawling a recently completed site of mine. The MSN results were visible in their search within a few weeks, I'm still waiting on Google to show anything at all. Nice one MSN!!
all we need is for MSN to bid for AOL search the traffic would at least get better but I love how they rank my sites
oups guess not "Time Warner's expected renewal of its partnership with Google shows just how much Google has supplanted Microsoft as the force to be reckoned with in technology." NY TIMES
I find this incredibly wierd, i mean since you guys say you get so much traffic from msn. I get loads and loads of traffic from google, NONE for Yahoo! and like 5% of my traffic from MSN which is like 5 times a week.
Getting #1 in MSN is like winning the special olympics. You come in first but are still retared. Will be more happy when MSN gains market share.
msn is fast SERP, that's why we get high traffic and top ranks. But google is the No1 Revenue in 2005 why? i think theres a lot of people more genius than bill gates!
I have noticed and have watched over the past few months that Msn are top of the list to get a new site indexed into their search results. I created a site and launched two days ago and already i have traffic from msn, and earning from adsense. Yahoo on the other hand seem to be asleep the spider may come to the site but it does not crawl it. My site is not TE but a topical subject with around 10 unique content pages and a forum so i will have to wait and see when yahoo comes and indexes it. It will be a good test to see just how long it takes for yahoo to spider and index a site that has unique and fresh content. as for msn they are my best friends at the moment. Secret: just make sure you add a link to to your site in My Msn or even an RSS feed if your site has it.
I must agree to the last two posts! As soon as you have reached top position in google for competitive keywords, you are skyrocketing your traffic and your SALES! And that's most often more than just a residual income! Anyway MSN is a good start for your traffic as new sites often get listed very fast and if se optimized they are positioned quite well either.
MSN is a great short term solution for new sites. As time goes by, u will need the power traffic of google for the long term.
you may love MSN, but you must admit their SERPs are real shit i mean in general, not about my sites, of course
Well that's just because google is doing a good job by keeping relevants and honest sites high.. I also get more than 90% of my SE-traffic from MSN
Thanks for the laugh, very well put. I receive the least amount of traffic from MSN, compared to Yahoo or Google, but I the highest ratings for a couple of competitive keywords, so MSN is special to me.
