All I want to do is code & design websites. But I have absolutely no ideas for a website or script. So I cant code.. what should I do!? For real Im really fiending to code lol but I have no idea what to do, anybody else like this? What should I do??!
There are TONS of things out there to do, how much time do you have? Contribute to open source projects, complete the tasks on project euler, build scrapers, practise design patterns, make an auto content generator that uses markov chains , mess around with sockets, design some encryption algorithms - build practical things: todo list managers, hotel managing programs, backlink checkers, invoicing programs. Seriously, there is no lack of stuff out there to do. Just a lack of coders. Hell, some of the stuff I've made when I've been bored has been pretty cool, check out www.dirtymonkey.co.uk
Find existing scripts that you can assist in improving or create modules for existing platforms and systems... That will satisfy the itch to create all while solving a problem...
How about building a real, working email verifier? Seems to me nobody has done that. If its possible it would be gold.
