Install YM (Yahoo Messenger), it has pre-installed games - including chess, which you can play with whoever it is you're chatting with. Quite fun really, even more so if you have voice chat enabled. Just make sure you have java installed.
i am very good in palying chess but i donot like play it on the internet i like it more when it is face to face
Thanks 4 your replies guys, it rly means something to me And '' Love* '' , thanks for the helpful advise ...Remember: ...if anyone wants to say anything about chess - This is The place
Not really, you can play the game as long as you have basic understanding of it. Of course, that doesn't mean you'd be good at it.
I agree But, if you're very concentrated and you think logical & fast, u can master the game without that much of a practice Does any1 know a good chess app for Nokia XpressMusic ( Symbian ) ? If u do, please post how to get the app ( use direct links if possible ) Grateful upfront, Misa Misa
so you sucked and yet you won a school tournament, that really means everyone in your school was garbage
Since excelling in chess requires strategy, & a good eye, I guess training & practice will make you better.
i was like to play chess but it take lot of time so i was leave it. now i am spending lot of time on internet to gain knowledge to earn money
Yeah, playing people is the thing, cause playing a computer isn't fun at all, i mean the pc doesn't have a character, like people do
Practice against yourself. First match, play as white; second, play as black (even though you're playing as both, obviously). See if you're better acting or responding. Go nuts when you beat the color you were playing as that match, it happens more often than you think. Then go spread the joy of the game (please don't make it nerdier than it is; it's aristocratic and should be treated as such). Don't play against a computer, too simple. Sometimes making the illogical move is the best.
Thus, we can say that being good at it requires a lot of practice? Or is it simply a skill that makes people good player?
