    Your country is off course an issue. Most of the high paying advertisers are really choosy about affiliates country of residence.

    I'm in the UK and use Webgains instead of CJ. Now that I've retired I need to earn some more money through affiliate marketing. Just updating the websites a bit has brought in immediate rewards, around £30 in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully one day I'll have time to do some proper SEO and marketing strategies and increase my earnings again.

    Sounds good Trisha! Webgains is great in the UK, my opinion is CJ and Shareasale are best for USA merchants. You could always build some sites/blogs promoting US merchants.
