In one of my sites, GA has been recording less than 20% of my traffic for one week now and I don't know what is happening... Both addfreestats.com and awstat records around 700 uniques per day and GA records only an average of 20 people... For 3 months now, only US, India, and my home country is listed as referrals... though traffic to my site keeps coming from almost everywhere... GA is the least accurate tool..
That's the problem, Google is one among a zillion ways to advertise, lead and analyze traffic, not something to believe in or the non-plus ultra of earth. It's not only GA, but translations and others services too... you will not believe this but true, Google is now returning garbage results when you query 2+2 instead of bringing the calculator feature.
For Me GA seem to be great Reports, Never use any other stat site, PLs thank to this info I 'll try to recheck other stat as well to recheck
Well I think it is better to believe in awstat...It's your server's feature so I think it's the most accurate tool..
No problems with analytics on my end, It has taken a long time, but I have rock solid installation and reporting.
I only use GA right now and it seems to do a quite nice job. But maybe I should try other services as well to see if it shows accurate results or not.
