    I don't think that would work. I'm pretty sure you have to show them the phone so that they can see the condition of it and stuff, specifically so that won't happen.

    They don't let you purchase insurance beyond 30 days after you get the phone.

    I know US Cellular lets you purchase it at least a couple years after you buy the phone. I don't know anything about Sprint.
