i lost links, but pagerank is still same

Hi,

I'm totally confused, my site: www.aspnetsource.com has pr2, but when I write in google: link:www.aspnetsource.com it shows only 1 link (but before few days the links was 10). Do you think: should I expect that my pagerank will drop down soon ?

Google reveals only part of your backlinks, for a full list you may check with Yahoo. If the page your link is on indexed by Google and so your link is in the index as well - be sure, it is counted by Google

 

They never reveal all the links that your site has. Better use other sites to check it like backlinkwatch and dnscoop.

 

Google dance is going on from quiet long time. So somtimes I see my rankings down, my pr lost, and my loss of domains...

 

Google only shows links that they like, Try out using other tools to get your exact linking position and start building more links otherwise you may loss your PR on next update.

 

If you get the pr from google its same if your all liks will remove

 

The big doesn't show all your links. But yahoo does! Anyway, the pr dropped is possible for your site if the decrease in the number of links will continue.

Google might have missed some links this time to count for your website.
I have a website which has 4 back links but later on it was removed by Google and than i got it once again back.
So no worry...

 

by webmaster tool itslef can see many links or use any back link analyzer will get all.

 

in my case, i lost PR while all backlinks still there n increase..

 

I think it's the quality of the backlinks, the number does less.
I have a site that is 2 year old, and I lost thousands of backlinks in 'webmaster tool' but it's still PR2. It's easy to get high pagerank I think, but site traffics is more important to me.

 

Hey that link: url function in google is highly inaccurate. I wouldn't trust it. You can use this to check backlinks http://website.grader.com

 

Google is not shows all back links, you can check another tool like backlinkwatch.

 

Google shows quality links only, you can check on another tool, that shows quantity links.

 

You can try yahoo search.

 

I think google just update the PR at 9th,so your PR could not change.And sometimes google can not show all of your links.You can try to site it with other search engines.
