I lost all my back links - Is my site under sand box?

    Hi DB members,

    I used to have around 900 backlinks to my site from various articles sites and directories.

    I could not see those links in my webmater tools anymore. I have not done anything wrong to promote my site.

    Is google is doing some kind of update? what is wrong in here. Please help me to understand the issue.

    That's strange. I have seen that Google devalue some backlinks according to its quality parameters and so some sites lose some backlinks. But losing 900 backlinks all of a sudden is a kinda strange thing that can not be explained without analyzing your site. Can you plz share your URL?

    Maybe you linked to a penalized web site and you get penalized too
