I like to know whether sites like www.godaddy.com,www.freewebspace.net (Top sites ) would have ever submitted to free directories?

They would have submitted to Dmoz but would they have submitted to other directories?

I want some body to answer this question as it is very much important to me!

A lot of big names submit to directories, though SEO companies. I remember laughing when UPS.com paid to submit to SevenSeek.

But they will submit and pay only for paid directories!

Have you ever heard of Godaddy or some other top sites submitting to a free directory?

I am asking this because My bot has to adopt same standards for different websites!

I'd agree with John on this. Aviva has even gotten submissions from UK government sites.
