By teaching or showing someone how to market there site. it also teaches you how to "Better" market your own site. for example i had a friend that didnt know how to do meta tags properly apperantly i didnt either@!!@@@@ but when i helped him learn i also learned from my mistake and corrected it! so my suggesion to everyone is to help someone learn something you and them can benifit from it!
That is actually really good advice. I was tutoring someone in PHP and I ended up stumbling upon something that even I didn't know, even though I have been programming for 6 years. repped
3 years ago I was force to reconfigure a cisco router(which I didnt have a lot of knowledge back then) now I am a Cisco Certified Engineer It opens up doors of new opportunities so dont be afraid to tackle something you dont know, just be careful and give it a go!
I accept! One of my friends has launched a local news discussing forum. Since it was local, we discussed about local advertising. Lots of ideas came out that I hadn't imagine. It's very true. webgaya.
That's an old concept. The best way to learn is by teaching. But most people have to discover that on their own. God job.
The best way to learn is always to roll up the sleeves and get it done with your own two hands. That's the difference between theory and practical. I've even learnt how to bake my own bread. The sense of satisfaction and knowing you can do it makes it all worth while.
I wouldn't say the best way to learn is to teach. The best way is to become involved and enjoy what your trying to learn. If I think back to the things that I understood the best, and figured out the quickest, it is usually something I really enjoy. (Video Games) Love what you do, do what you love.
This happens to the teachers as well all the time. LOL. Actually the best way to learn something is by teaching others on it.
Yeah, I often tend to be a better teacher than a doer. Lately I've been trying to figure out how to improve our traffic and conversions. Perhaps I should volunteer to coach a few others in this area...
I think that's why we all post on forums like these--I find myself replying to way more threads than I start, and I think overall I've found replying more valuable than posting questions of my own. Tom
