Movie Trailers, they are already distributed on the web everywheree. I want to make a movie trailer site, and it will look more professional if I hosted the videos with my on Flashplayer instead of clips of youtube.

Any legal trouble with this? I can say I dont own the videos and etc....

Just like episodes of your favourite show, movie trailers are still copyright material.

You should really contact the studios and get permission to use the trailers.

As you say they are already everywhere, and are promotional material so there is more chance of them saying yes than for say a copy of the movie itself.

You will likely not get permission to use them and the hassle of trying to do that is not worth it. Contacting movie studios and the run around you will get will be extremely time consuming. If you plan to make money on the site than there would be no way you would get permission.
