    It is an informed citizen!
I urge ALL to please spend a few minutes a day to read your history books, the constitution of the United States, the inner workings of our government and be aware.

That's is funny. When people try to ask questions and get more information about Ron Paul, people like you say, you've got enough of an explanation.

    Ahh, irony.

Bible too, if there is one anti-government book this is it.

It's a good point, they fear knowledgable citizen more than anything else. Most Ron Paul supporters are like one-trick pony, they figured that Republican/Democrat politics is scam but they still put their money in the bank for debasement, send children to goverment-accredited school for brainwashing, etc.

You are really something else mate. If I did not have Ron Paul as my avatar and did not have his link on my signature, would your post still try to somehow pin this on Ron Paul? What you are doing is pathetic.

methinks thou doest protest too much

First of all, I am talking about your hypocricy, not Ron Pauls. You think I can't remember your username and comments with out the little picture guide. You are a hypocrite with your Ron Paul avatar or your Bush one.

You can't tell everyone to get informed in one thread and in others tell them to stop asking questions and think you are not going to get called on it.

You are trying to use RP as a shield for your own hypocrisy. This has nothing to do with Ron Paul, it has to do with you!

What this guy fails to see (for obvious reasons) this is NOT about me, it is about ALL of us. He is too narrow minded to see the bigger picture, regardless of who I might or might not be. browntown is the ideal citizen that will fit perfectly into the new world order doctrine and obey them like a nice little pet slave.

    Strawman

The OP is talking about educating yourself, not coming here and demanding answers.

None of us are perfect vassals of knowledge, and likewise, we do not have a responsibility to educate you.

Let me know who you are voting for, and we can play the game both ways. I'd like you to answer for your choices if I have to answer for mine.

I know what the OP was talking about. He is a hypocrite because when I chose to educate myself on a candidate, he told me to stop asking questions, I had been given enough information. You and I both know, that attitude is offensive and paternalistic. My criticism of the OP is totally justified. It was not in anyway a criticism of RP, but that was just his knee-jerk defensive response.

I did not ask anyone to educate me. I asked that a candidate provide more information. I have not asked or told any of his supporters that it is their job to provide me with any information. (that is a strawman)

As for who I am voting for, I have not yet decided. Further, who I chose to support is not relevant. I am free to enter a discussion of anyone who is running for president and who is soliciting my vote. Even if I support candidate X, I am still allowed to question and debate the qualifications of Candidate Y. I may chose to dissuade someone from voting for a bad candidate rather than supporting someone else.

Great point. The old line about repeating history is oh so true and it keeps happening because people just can't seem to understand how important history is. If you don't understand what happened before, you really don't have any context for anything that's happening now. Without context, there is no understanding.

Can you please point me to the thread I said that? I honestly do not remember.

It is your job to educate yourself if you want to be anything worth anything.

    Seriously, are you this dense?

Yes, I demand information and explanations from all the Presidential candidates.

No, I do not expect or demand answers from their supporters. Nor do I expect or demand to be educated by you or anyone in this forum.

There is no contradiction. Is that clear enough for you?

edit: you changed your post, but not before I read and replied to it.

The best advice one can get is the advice they give others...

Knowledge is Power and the Pen is Mightier than the Sword. True but the task of engaging of informing citizens is normally far from easy, most are just too apathetic, even if the issues concern their rights and properties.

good thread, this is true on many levels.

with just about anything you gotta know what you're doing and why it's happening, or else you're gonna end up like the rest of the lost souls.
