Contest I know what I want - Vector Globe Logo + Animated Favicon - $20!

Hey everyone,

1. I need the logo from this design to be done up as a vector:



The font is arial and arial bold. (veranda may look better when it is bigger and could be used instead)

The sea should be the blue of the bg and the land white.

I need it so that it will look good very small as in the logo there and very big for printed media etc...

The globe should be pointed over europe, with the us, and south america visible on the left edge. like this: http://www.sc4geography.net/geography/AtlanticGlobe.jpeg - but up and left a bit.

2. I need a rotating favicion of a globe it should be:

The land should be white and the sea the color of the bg of the header.

I am paying $10 each - or $20 in total.

The favicon could be done on favicon.cc but I don't have the time to do a high number of frames with varying gradients.

EDIT: I've revised and made a higher quality, slower and more detailed favicon.

Chewysmom - The colors aren't as in the template I gave you - the blue isn't right and they should be inversed blue bg and white text. Also the globe is too big for the text, I would like it pretty much exactly the same as in the image I gave, just with a better globe.

Kavalorn - same as above - as for the favicon - its a bit to pixelated - it needs gradients on the edges and on the land etc to help reduce it.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to whip another one tomorrow with less 'pixelozis' as it really takes some time to do it from scratch.

 

Chewysmom - that globe doesn't have the right colors and when shrunk doesn't look good at all. I found it online before when I tried to find a simple vector. Also its position is wrong it needs to be more centered on the atlantic ocean rather than africa

here is another try

the top one is Europe facing us. (looking at the globe from top). this one is really showing erurope but doesn't look nice
the bottom one is identical to the image you mentioned in the brief. shows Africa but looks nice

if i got the globe right i fix the color.
also it's best to change size with source file not from jpg so it keeps the quality

Revised and my final version of the favicon, added several other gradients to 'smoothen' the overal effect..

 

Chewysmom - the globe isn't in the right position in either, the top one should be centered more towards the equator. Could you show me one where it has been scaled down to the size for the website and you need to change the colors.

Kavalorn - thats looking better, can you change the colors though so they match the site.

 

I've already made them blue with white land, cba to go through those around 100+ frames one by one changing the whole gradient sea

chewysmom - the globe is too big in comparison to the text - it should be the same as in the main one and the bg and the worlds oceans should be the same color,(different layers though). Could you show me one scaled down for the website as well.
