Hi all- I know that Page Rank really means next to nothing and that it is the SERPS that matter for traffic etc. Page Rank is more for bragging right I got a bigger well you know the rest. However, I still have a question about something I do not get. Maybe it is just Google becuase they seem to do whatever they feel like and whenever and for some reason they always forget to consult me first like I agreed they would do. ANyway my site www.babyshowerguides.com has been up now for just a little over two months. At the end of February about the third week of Feb I should say the page Rank mysteriaouly changed to PR of 3 (from 0 of course). I thought cool and went on with business. However some days it would be a PR 3 and others back to a PR 0. I saw someone in another forum or thred here can;t remeber refference this tool at seo chat. http://www.seochat.com/?go=1&option=com_seotools&tool=9&url=www.babyshowerguides.com&submit=Check So for the fun and kicks of I put in my url to see what the deal was. Well about two weeks ago the my site was showing on some of the data centers as pr3 and others as pr0. I figured it was updating no biggie. Then last week looked again (okay it can be kind of addictive to keep checking like an over obessive freak) then all datacenters were PR3. Cool I figured the update was done I was PR 3 and could move on to the next stage in my life and stop checking this dang tool. Then today unfortunetly when I went to my site google pr of 0 AGAIN! So back to the tool to check again and guess what a few of the datacenters have now downgraded or changed their mind on me. I am starting to wonder if google ever even got the memo about consutling with me before making any sweeping changes or not. At any rate after a long story my question is basically what does this mean? Am I losing ground? Could I have done something google doesn;t like? I publish a lot of articles for the site. About 1 to 5 a week did I do to much of this and trip something? I have just started using article-marketer.com to publish my articles beucase it saves time is this too spammy becuase of the auto submission? Any ideas? If I am losing ground I would hate to repeat the fun on other sites and kind of nervous to move now. Thanks for the input ichibanda
