Just got done checking my stats from godaddy and noticed someone found my brand new month old debate forum using the search term "debate community" I was sure they must have spent hours looking through hundreds of pages before they found mine, but I wanted to check... low and behold there I was, listed as #10 of 131,000,000 for the search term "Debate Community" Not a major feat I know, but this is my first time ever being listed for anything other than my url and exact site name I guess SEO really does work. Thanks for reading and sorry for wasting your time, but I needed to get it out.
Thanks for "good jobs" and such. No real secret, just followed stuff I found for free online, ie. making the text keyword rich without over doing it and using the meta tags. I am now only worried I may become addicted to SEO. I mean I always knew it worked... but I figured it would take a lot of time to make it to #10 of 131 Million.
Bit of an update, just noticed I was #10 of 131,000,000 yesterday, as of today I am #1 of 130,000,000 !!!!
Just followed the rules. Made my homepage keyword rich without over doing it and added good meta tags.
Good job and hopefully you will be coming up with an ebook about the method you used to get good rank JK Keep it up mate
I see your site verbalbattle.com Ranks #1 for the term debate community not number 10 so it's much better but I hope you keep that rank because usually search engines give new sites the chance to rank up few days until they prove they deserver that rank
