I love thailand but on thing thai do to much is take short cuts. They had an article about online gamming and the Korean seller was angry with all the Thais cheating and try to go ahead while the korean wait in line :)

This must break the Terms or is it consider a page??

It's not a content page but in their defense they probably have the code in "footer.php" and no script to test if it should be shown.

They're not unique and I doubt they're deliberately cheating.

The test for me would be if they deliberately littered their site with broken links so people will get cross, and click the ads to go elsewhere.

Not all Thais do that so please don't typical to make it the topic title.

Of course gambling, casino are not allowed.

and the page you refered are not allowed to serve the ads either because the policies are state clearly that "No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages".

Yellowberry claims to live there too ;)

Every country has it's stereotype, we've had Pakistan being slurred this week, hell, the Irish cop it and have done for decades, and don't get started on blondes. All American's are loyal to Bush right? oh, no, there's the Dixie Chicks... so all but them?

I guess this post could have been started without the focus on where the site was from... Yellowberry lives and learns.

Maybe casino's aren't, but I had 3 months there and saw plenty of gambling in the villages. Mostly just card games but all societies gamble...

whitespider regarding the Korean and Gaming that was in a Thai magazine. And for cue if you live here in Thailand you know that they are masters in copy other stuff. As said i love Thailand but copy other stuff and sneaking pass is little bit of their trademark :) But lets not talk about Thailand lets talk about the website. I found it beucase i search for a website i found the cash but the website was not there this 404 was. And from what i seen 404 pages are not ok in Adsense.

yeah - talk about the website and REMOVE the offensive title - I have had a few run ins here with people I disagree with but thay are at least intelligent human beings - you are clearly not if youy are start threads with stupid titles like that.

Yes Thais can copy and cheat, so can many people, but to suggest that "en masse" we should not be allowed into the adsnse programme is just peurile.

Hey, if Yellowberry.org is Thai, and he wants to diss Thailand, he has every right to do so. You guys just live there -- he was born, raised, and is a part of it, so I would think he has more rights to criticize it than you guys. Just my 2 cents.

Perhaps you can criticise Thailand (or any country) once you have learned to write properly in the language of this board. I expect you did not bother to contact the site owner regarding his footer mistake.

Say what? What does his ability to master English have to do with his right to criticize Thailand (which speaks -- duh, Thai) or the site in question? One thing has nothing to do with the other. Just because people can't write/speak masterfully in English (or any other language) doesn't make their opinions invalid.

Of course, his opinion is invalid in this case, if we want to talk in terms of the validity of his argument it is never anything other than a fallacy to suggest that from an observed set of cases 'm' which all have trait 'X' it follows that all cases of 'M', observed and unobserved also share that particular trait. This is logic 101.

My comment about his English was meant to remind him that he is far from perfect, like us all. I would bet I write better Thai than he writes English. Does that give me special rights?

I would also question your argument that him being or not being Thai has any bearing on his 'rights' to criticise Thai people. If he is accorded the right to publically criticise an entire nation then we must accord him that right by way of duty - our duty to listen to what he says. I personally feel no such obligation and nor should any wise person. :)

Google originally banned the use of ads on any page without 'relevant content' and then later relaxed the rules allowing ads to be on login pages and signout pages, etc. Error pages are probably not permitted but I do not see how this means it was a bad idea to let Thai people into the adsense system - perhaps you would like to elucidate on his point for him? I realise he was only half serious but don't try to defend it.

Oh, whatever. You made a dumb statement and I caught you on it. Admit it.

Your comment about his English was meant to hint at your belief that you are superior to him. Admit it. You think you're smarter than him because his English isn't as great as yours. That makes you a snob.

Blah blah blah. Pretty up your rebuttal in as much flowery prose as you want, but the fact is you still made a dumb statement and you refuse to admit it. Every human being has rights, to criticize a country, to get called on it, and to argue about it. But you telling him he has no rights at all to say anything bad about his country makes you the fool here, not him. Admit it and move on. Stop pretending like you didn't fubar it.
