I heard form many Dp members tht ads impression = $$ but I get about 2000+ impressions but not even a penny for impression (I earn from clicks tho), Tell me pls what should I do to earn from impression. Sometimes I earn form DP just for Impression, So whats wrong wit my site? Thankx.
i think most people are referring to the fact that the more traffic you get... the more money you make. but, that's every dependent on the quality of your traffic and how well your ads are optimized. it is possible to get paid by impression (CPM) with adsense if you choose "Text & Image ads (default)" when setting up your ads. but, that doesn't mean you WILL be paid on impressions... it just means that if google has a CPM campaign that matches your site... they might run it.
When you're setting up a new ad in adsense, you go to... AdSense Setup > AdSense for Content > Ad Unit Your first choice is a drop down menu with three options: 1. Text and image ads 2. Text ads only 3. Image ads only It will most likely already be set to "Text and image ads" by default, unless you've changed that setting in your account.
Actually Traffic = $$$$ Not sure but I think if you have a Adsense premier publisher, then you can select to be paid for per 1000 impressions.
