Hey Just last night, I checked the feed of my blog and noticed it wasn't updating. The last update was from August 2nd. I figured the cause was because I changed my permalink structure then. So I changed my permalinks back, but the feed still didn't update. Then, I tried re-activating and tinkering with my Feedburner details, and now everything is gone. I changed everythign back to the way it was, but it still does not work. I get a HTTP Error Code: 500. So I guess I'm looking for help/suggestions of what I should do. Maybe someone has experienced this before?? Thanks.
hey thanks alot my feed: http://www.budgetglobetrotting.com/?feed=rss2 or http://feeds.feedburner.com/BudgetGlobeTrotting pointing source feed to http://www.budgetglobetrotting.com/feedburner_390028/ That's what you needed right?
Yes. Well, the solution it's pretty easy. The error "This feed is making a “clunking†sound." means that you are pointing your feedburner account to a URI that is already redirecting to your feedburner account. For example. A = your feedburner URI (http://feeds.feedburner.com/A) B = your old feed C = your secret feed where feedburner points to "This feed is making a “clunking†sound." means that you configure C to redirect to A or B so FeedBurner falls into a loop. Please check that * http://www.budgetglobetrotting.com/?feed=rss2 redirects to http://feeds.feedburner.com/BudgetGlobeTrotting * http://www.budgetglobetrotting.com/feedburner_390028/ doesn't redirects to http://www.budgetglobetrotting.com/?feed=rss2 neither to http://feeds.feedburner.com/BudgetGlobeTrotting * update your feed from your feedburner control panel Let me know.
alright, I think I understood most of your explanation. atleast the whole concept of what is happening. but i'm still confused as to what to do to fix it. In the wordpress admin area everything looks the same as it was when it was working, and my feed in feedburner looks configured right...but it's not working.
hey alright I got it figured out...i just deleted my old feed and made a new one probably not good for the subscribers I already had, but it was the easiest/fastest solution. thanks for your help
