i just sold sitepoint.asia to sitepoint.

    I think $500 is a nice profit, can reinvest it to buy more domain names for selling :D

    They tried bullying at first - i bought it in the "pre landrush" for about $15 us. It was about 30 day sale ( as you cant sell or do anything with them for 30 days in that period.

    The only reason i posted this really is that i offered some help via PM and they banned me. Matts a good guy ( owner i think but the rest of them suck :)

    Yes sitepoint is a trademark but not in the country i reged it in ( north korea ) and as .asia covers austrailia ( where sitepoints based,) i think they wanted it. i contacted them - after listing it for sale on their own site :p

    Ah, also to add I have offers far above what sitepoint wanted to pay but in the end i thought it was the right thing to do ( and yes i do sound like a hypocrite )
