say buh bye to that adsense check lmao as for me, i started on september 10th and its october 15th, so a little over a month starting from nil (knowing nil also) to all out pawnageing with one of mywebsites
Say bye bye to your check for next month and possibly getting a nasty email. Don't you read the TOS. Disclosing amount of payout and percentages is a no-no. Never mind the fact that putting your site here in the forum could invite some sinister forces to "click-bomb" you.
Are you serious dude? I'll tell you his secret right here and right now. He used good ad placement and made a site that people LIKED, USED, AND ENJOYED. Since the people liked it they kept coming back and eventually clicked on an ad or 2. No traffic, no money. He most likely tested a lot if he didn't hit on the first try. There is no secret in AdSense that everyone else knows and you don't. Don't be like the other 85% AdSense publshers that will never reach $100 because they over examine everything and don't want to work smartly for the money. Use common sense and give people what they want, not what is easiest for you to put on a site. What I just said is worth a lot of money. Don't waste what you've been given. With Integrity, Ty Maier
Thanks for your comments. Everything kind of happened by an accident. The site was launched about 10 months ago, and my goal was to give education instead of making money out of Adsense (still it isn't). My passions was there to reach out to community and help them getting educated. My goal for 2008 is to help instructors to create their own classes on the site, and sell their own lessons online. In this way, people from all over the world can start their own classes online and generate revenue. I did get some good investors for this project (I got lucky) I guess my only tip for you guys is that your adsense should never be the primary purpose for the site. If the site is good and useful, adsense and other sponsored ads will follow naturally. My philosophy is that the ad should never exceed your content, and this also goes to the design of the web. Thank you Digital Point family. You guys are really great.
congrats! Buit you must not rest on your oars. Continue the good work. Also, make sure that you aim higher. Go for it, you can do it. If you can make $100, then you can make $1000 with more effort and determination.
that means whether you took 10 months to reach $100 , I took more than 18 months to reach my First Hundred
