I just put adsense on my site and...

I decided to finally put adsense up yestrday on my site
and today
i got 1 click for $3.23

is that good?

 

Of course thats a nice click, but I would just work on my content and not worry about it.

 

what do you mean work on the content? does working on the content help improve adsense?

The site is my hostgator affiliate site - www.hostgator.ws, Altho I cant say how I got it that high because I have no idea my self. All I done was put up the adsense code. if you have any tips for me lads let me know ! thanks =D

 

Web hosts pay a high CPC with adwords as there is a lot of competition in the niche.

Web hosting is a good niche to target.

Make sure you keep the quality of the traffic going to the advertiser as high quality otherwise you soon see substantially less per click.

Something that many publishers ignore, but yeah web hosting can be a decent payer.

No it wont help the adsense per click, but it will get you more users and in turn more clicks which = more money.
One click is nice but its just one click. I would rather have 600 clicks at .10 cents than that one click....
Just my .02 though...

 

That's outstanding. With the recent financial crisis, it's hard to see figures like that.

 

Fantastic job masterlogo! Just don't let the site grow stagnant...one of the worst things you can do with AdSense sites.

If you just put it up and leave, you'll get some clicks, but you'll notice it will get worse and worse if you don't continually add value. Think of ways you can help your visitors once they get that shiny new Hostgator account and give them tons of free info about it.
