I recently bought 2 domains that are high in pR, "example" ipodtouch.c o m and ipod-touch.c o m can anybody give me any suggestions. Should i link the sites together with a 301 or separately with a different name on the host and whois. both the sites are pretty high in pr, and i would like to keep the pr, any suggestion would be much appreciated,
    thanks

hosting and whois should not matter unless you plan to interlink between the two sites. If that is the case, then go with two separate hosts and different whois/register companies. Either way do not 301 one to the other or else you will lose the PR that one site has.

301 only use whenever you want to redirect an old URL or new domain in your case you just need to interlink each and get more quality links to maintain or improve the site's performance.

How much did you cost for these two domains?

301 redirects help you to redirect your site to the old domain. So definitely you have to do SEO again for news sites.

I would suggest you to do 301 redirect that will help you to gain PR and backlink. All the best.

If both domains have the same content then choose which one will be your front end domain then implement a 301 redirection from the other one to your front end one so that Google will know that it is one the same and not cause any duplication issues.
