I just obtained 18 PR4 DO-FOLLOW links. Now what?

I have a PR3 site, and am doing link exchange with 18 PR4+ sites. Will I get a PR boost? They are all Do-Follow. I have checked with WebCEO and everything is working good

Plus, they all have related content.

 

yes you will get a pr boost, just avoid being penalize otherwise it will not happen.

how many outgoing links is thier on each pr4 page

that can affect alot as link juice is lost if theres to many outgoing links

 

Yes exactly you will get a boost in the PR and also a nice bump in terms of SERP's, if the number of out links from that PR site is a low number.
If on a PR3 page, you have 50 other out links, then it absolutely carries very less link juice to contribute anything.

 

So if it's on a PR4 page that links to 30 or so other sites? Is that bad?

 

Well, two things that may happen:
1-For the PR of your site, if that is your interest, probably nothing, until Google PR next update which might be months from now.
2-You will get banned or penalized for excessive linking. However that will probably not happen, 18 links is just not a lot.

 

An advice I would give also is to get some lower PR (0 or 1) links as well, one-way link better, to make your link building appears more natural to Google.
