I just made $14 For Selling $400 worth of Books for Amazon

I just made $14 for selling $400 worth of merchandise for Amazon, and I'm sick of it. :( My website is located at www.supernaturalminds.com. If you know of an affiliate program that respects their affiliates, can you please make a post and send me their url?

I'm looking for affiliate programs that sell books or videos which are educational. Amazon is the biggest piece of corporate trash to come on the internet. I just checked my account, and they made a total of about $455 bucks, and they pay me a pathetic $14? If you have an affiliate account with Amazon, I'd suggest you get rid of it.

I know. Do you know of another affiliate program involving books or educational products which pays more? I want to remove Amazon off my site as soon as possible.

Humm.... Maybe Try CJ some of the big shots are in there.

You will also find some good content and can be affiliated with some trustable affiliates.

Yes. They didn't make $400 dollars dude. You think they get the goods sold for free?

Why don't you create your own content then if there is obviously a market for it?

I know Amazon has costs. But that is a rip off. Period. Besides, my account says the items were shipped. I'm assuming Amazon got paid. Regardless, $14 bucks is pathetic, and that is the point I'm trying to make.

Well, I write content for the site, but I have 8 websites and I'm in the process of getting ready to build site # 9. I don't have much time to starting my own affiliate program, if that is what you mean. It is much easier to simply find a better affiliate. If I could find someone with better payouts, my earnings should be better.

Barnes and Noble has their own affiliate program, Half.com (part of ebay) also has a lot of books and has it's affiliate program through CJ. BN pays 5% with bonuses for $5000 sales and up. I can't remember what half.com pays out.

3.5% is not that much, but I have seen worse. I have seen some computer companies offering 1% commissions.

Infact I am currently promoting some that pay less than 3.5%.

That's better than what happened to me.

    I got $25 commission for selling a $2,000 laptop for Amazon. :(

Maybe check out Comssion Junction or Clickbank and see if you can find a better payout for your site?.

if you have a site where you add those amazon javascript blocks ... yeah ... that's rubbish, but like shoe said ... they have so much content.

how many of you (used to) make decent money with adsense or ypn on top of your aws content sites? 95% aws, 5% ads?

for me, the value they bring/brought is the mass amounts of pages ... if you can get google to give you traffic.

that said, if you have content, real content, amazon isn't the program for you ... you'd be better off finding an affiliate that sells what you write about or you should spend time trying to get search ads designed to enhance clicks.
