Hi, I know that's not a good news to share but I just feel like I'll be allright if I share it 3 Hours ago i was in taxi that drive me to the university, I was wearing a jacket with a small pocket, I didn't took attention and I lost my cell phone in the taxi seat. I left the taxi, 15 min past I remeber it and while I was checking my pocket I didn't find it! I went fast to a public phone to call myself in order to ask the taxi driver to bring it back to me and I'll pay him but unfortunately he just got the phone and he turn it off! What a shame! I am really broke these days and I lost my phone! by the way it was a Nokia N80 with a 512mb memory card. The phone cost me about 180$
If the taxi driver is an honest person, he would have definitely returned that cell phone. I think he had no intention of returning it to the rightful owner and that's why, he turned it off; you have to buy a new one.
Yes that what I am saying, he turned it off in a very short time, he is a thief! There is a lot of Taxis and I can't remember the taxi number as I didn't paid attention to the cell phone when I left ! Big loss for me because I can't buy a new one now as I still need more money for the university fees!
If you call the taxi company and told them the time he picked you up they should be able to track him down,. thats bad though if he really wants to own the phone.
You know what, I lost my phone 2 months ago and never borthered to get a new one... Why? I realized how much better the life is without this POS.
No problem with my SIM card he will just burn it or whatever and he will buy a new prepaid SIM for 1$ and he will use the phone propely or he can sell it, by the way it was a Nokia N80 with a 512mb memory card. The phone cost me about 180$
did you get the taxi's plate number? you can track down which driver took it by his schedule and your reported time your phone got lost...
I lost my phone in a similar case before too. Just think it's bad luck and buy a new one. make sure you are more careful this time.
one my friend lost his mobile phone in railway station few time later he called to his own phone from public phone booth ... then one man said from his phone > is it your phone ? ok i wont give this back to you ... next time you keep your new phone as well ...thanks > switched off. anyway its sad.
I was sitting in a cafe..... a call came, i answered it and kept it on the table. While leaving i forgot the my cell there and after 10 minutes i realized i forgot to took my cell. When i returned back there, it wasn't there. I called from my friends cell, first two times missed calls gone but from third time onwards it was coming "cell is switched off".
I notice that I am not the only one that lost his phone! It's Bad Luck. I just bought a new one today but it's just a simple 30$ phone!
