I just got this site how should I market it, I thought maybe a lil' webmaster hub.

I love this new site I have, just got it today!

It's a 'mini social network site' LOL (thats what I call it you'll see why)

This is it how would you market this site if it was yours?

Market it through myspace, facebook, Friendster aiming to teenagers, check if you can add a chat room there.Best of luck!

 

I have found that people can be very very loyal to a social networking site. They will move - but you need to give them a compelling opportunity to do so.

It's also a question of critical mass - i.e. young people are going to move to sites where they can interact with their existing social group - thus its rarely about getting one person to move - you need to target groups at a time.

My thought would be to look outside the existing social networks - where that takes you.... (that's got me stumped )

I believe you can do very well with this site. Very appealing design. Speed is good. You can try these:
- social networking
- bookmarking (add a widget on your site)
- post ads on classified sites like mine http://www.webcosmo.com
- post on forums with site link on sig.
- post flyers on community places like laundry.
- link exchange
- if you can spend enough try google radio advertising.
