I just got a domain name "sync.com", and I need some advice.

    somehow, on my birthday my friend gave me "sync.com" as a present, and im thinking about how should i use it, which i got 2 choices.
    1. build up tech news website.
    2. sell it.
    do you think it worth any?
    i know is a good word dual to nowadays popularity of smartphone, but he never open a website using sync.com. so i was just wondering is it a bad keyword?

    May be the top guns like apple or microsoft may acquire that domain just like the Facebook bought FB.com
    Just find who all are advertising for the keyword sync and also scrape a list from SE results http://www.google.com/search?&q=sync , let them know that the domain name is for sale.

    According to me this domain is super premium and your friend must have a very very big heart that he departs himself from this one.

    Domain sync.com is registered by DNStination Inc.

    Currently domain is registered at Mark Monitor and all big business have their domains registered through Mark Monitor.

    Are you the owner of DNStination Inc. ?

    Nice present, I would suggest you build the best site you can with this, possibly turning sync into a brand name, as it is not a keyword proper. I doubt you will have any trouble selling it anyway, if you want to sell it you can advertise it on my site if you like, I will not charge you. PM me if you are interested.

    Why?

    Mark Monitor works with Fortune 100 Companies, no individual can have an account.

    Unless your friend registered SYNC in another language, which could easily happen with so many IDNs flying around.

    sync.com..............sync can be termed as "synchronization" ....do one thing.....use it to develop one good software site related to mobile,computers etc.........it will fetch lot of good....or if you getting good price.............sell it
