    It's weird

with all the .gtld nonsense, i really didn't expect is to effect the value of .com's so much.. but last Monday i finally just accepted an offer for one of my best domain sets on flippa i could never think of to accept just a few month ago.. and that's been i almost put another 3 weeks of work into a website.

I'm not allowed to post a link, yet anyone interested why i'm so sad about this just check my listings here..

    :/

It happens man. But some money is ALWAYS better than no money. The new extensions have definitely broadened the playing field quite a bit. Just means you have to be more picky about the .com's you purchase. The premium ones will retain their value, at least for now, but the "I don't know if I should get this one or not" .com's have dropped a lot, and will probably continue to do so.

You can always display the url in an image - type it, screenshot, paste directly into the thread, delete the typing.

    example:
    upload_2014-11-18_10-31-2.png

But the market determines the price. When you've gone through somewhere like flippa you know you've gained as much attention as possible so it comes down to what it's worth to you to hold onto it and what it's worth to the person buying it. Pure economics at it's best. Just not much fun when a deal doesn't feel like a win::win
