My domain, QiSoftware.com is comprised of several sub-domains to help me advertise my software consultancy. WiredPages is my news service and the sub-domain I use [on Qisoftware.com] to showcase my software tools, i.e., World Weather Tool, Calculators, neat stuff... WiredPages is also very family friendly. My personal blog [not so family friendly]-- which I also maintain on the site as a subdomain-- maintains its pagerank-- but WiredPages [homepage] is a moving target. I was one of thoe bloggers that was hurt by paid blogging several years ago-- but had everything reinstated middle of last month [dec. 09]. Why would I suddenly lose pagerank on WiredPages? I had it this morning- now its gone. and no-- I am not selling links nor anything else for that matter. Q....
Gone as in 'Pagerank: N/A' or gone as in 'dropped a point or two'? The former has happened to me a couple of times, but it's always bounced back within a few days at most. Technical error, perhaps... Your pagerank will come back soon enough. If the latter, however, I don't really know what to tell ya, I'll let the more knowledgeable speak on this...
If your not selling links and you don't have to many outbound links then your good there. My guess is that you had incoming links to the pages in question and they are now either gone, not indexed by Google anymore, less pr than before, or they added no follow links to you. Maybe your link structure changed or something, check your error logs.
thanks-- its been so long since that site-- has had pagerank-- I no longer know how pagerank fluctuates. I'll give it a day or so and hope it updates. I never watched as intently, pagerank for my other sites. Q...
