I do not say i'm the best SEO in the world. I just happen to know what a handful of people in the world know about PROFESSIONAL SEO.

And theres no way of knowing it...the barrier to entry is way too high.

 

By "objective formula", are you saying that you have completely figured out google algo? Because you would have to know it completely to create a truly objective formula.

 

Ok, I was following along, trying to be open minded as the novice SEO that I am, ....then you said this...

 

logylaps, not quite, but close. i've actually managed to transcribe the thinking process of subjective SEO judgement. this can mean the difference between success and failure, because it can tell you exactly what to do to a site, on a case by case basis. The problem with newbie SEOs is that they do not know EXACTLY what it takes to get a particular site up to the first page. Thats critical.

even a newbie can use it, because it basically forces him to! and the result is exactly what a professional would do!

Digg is a great traffic source. As an SEO, you should know how to use it properly.

 

Ok, seriously now. Just find someone you trust, give them the book, and tell them to apply what they learn on a site while documenting everything. Make a case study and make sure the person is a total newb to seo (cough cough me cough cough).

 

Google just bought an SEO company called Performix. I guess they'd probably be the best SEO company in the world.
