Besides this, are you ensuring that 1) At any time, the ads are not being served to a member whos ID is used as Pub id to serve ads. If i logged in, i wont see ads with my pub id. 2) At any time, you have only one pub Id to serve ads. Since you cant use two pub id to server ads at once. Even not referrals if i am not wrong. hope that helps. good luck
1. Not sure what u mean. But if u start a thread it has 50% chance, and when ur off the topic, it has the 50% of showing too. i think. it increasees as ur rank changes. 2. Yes i only have 1 pub id and thats the admin one used to admin the boards. Im still new to this, im not sure what the referral option is, although i did have it enabled, but i took it off cause i never heard of it. Yes its still my first time, but im learning and taking as much in as possible as i go. Any tips advice i'll try to do my best to answer them I think these settings are right, im not sure if i set them correct. I need your input on this godmode.
What i meant is. 1) You can't display 1 Ad with admin ID and 1 ad with a member ID on the same page. 2) If i am member of the forum and started a thread, according to your settings there is a 50% chance that my ads will be shown. However, when i am reading that post, my ads shouldn't be visible to me. Makes sense?
Not sure why you added revenue sharing this early into your forum. You still need to promote it and get a solid user base before trying to entice others with adsense.
Well its actually good to add the adsense on your site early. Google bots will tracker you site early and put it in there search engines faster. Witch will bring you more members as well.
That is not true. Having AdSense on your site will NOT help get into search engines faster. The AdSense bot and the Google bot are separate beasties (except that they share cached data). One does not know what the other is doing.
Don't you think having revenue sharing will get users to join and post, helping build that solid user base. To me it makes sense to add revenue sharing right away.
He is basing it off - If not many users, not many will join thus no one will click ads by accident*. Counter Argument would be - If ad sharing was implemented, more users would flock to the forums and share. Even if it isn't too many people the ones that do register will get a better chance of earning more revenue.
Adsense Revenue Sharing Forum is Back up. Forum and Site is also recently indexed. Thanks to new SEO techniques from reading a Barnes and Noble book for free(lol).
