I invested $19.60 to Buckinvest.net yesterday via Alertpay - I logged into my account there today to notice that my account balance is still $0 and saying that i invested $0 so i contacted the administrator and he never replied to me - and now i looked up the website more and now it is 100% a scam, Is there anyway to get my money back ? I don't think Alertpay ever does refunds, It's a scammers haven

I did a google search and found they were offering plans where you could make 109% profit in one day - did that not seem a little too good to be true?

Unless you did it through your bank, then no. Sadfully, I don't think you'll be able to get your money back.

It seems it was some kind of a HYIP which are all scams , so you would only get your money back if alertpay refunds you , you have no other option.

Are there any legit HYIPs out there? I haven't tried any but I've read about people losing money, never gaining anything.

Well, you had a cheap lesson of falling for a scam. Be happy it was only $20

You will be more careful next time

No-one here ever seems to listen but again; if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

I really didn't think 109% on $19.60 sounded like a lot of money - I had just invested it because i need a flat $20 on my Alertpay to pay for hosting but in the end i got scammed, I definitely learned my lesson now.

Well, making 9% in a day, in a crisis no less, is too good to be true. I'm very sorry you got scammed though; those bastards really suck.

Damn how do you guys fall for this stuff? I have enough trouble getting investors to put money into my brick-and-mortar businesses much less a scam site :)

This is a good point. You can have an honest opportunity and can't buy an investor. Then you read about people getting scammed and your where are all these people. Before I spend money with any web based business I check them online. Of course if they are a new scam you will won't find anything.

Lol right?! Just this week I scored my first investor for a web project and that took months of hard work for a proven concept!

Dispute with Alertpay, but if they move your funds to another AP account there is no hope

Did you pay with your credit card? Surely you can dispute the charge? Regardless, everyones right-- $20 is a really cheap lesson. I've been to far more expensive "seminars". Remember--if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't!
