    Hello
I developer has created a site for me which need to run in linux
Since my local machine is Windows XP i installed XAMPP to enable me run the site to test it

Now the developer says my site should have SOAP enabled on the server. Does XAMPP have SOAP enabled by default or its something that needs to be installed?

I have imported the database and set the dbase connections correctly

when i try to access the site i get this error

    Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

    Apache/2.2.2 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.2 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.1.4

That error could mean anything. You'll have to check the logs.

Instead, why not get some cheap hosting somewhere to test it more accurately.

Open php.ini uncomment extension=php-soap.dll or if its not there add it and restart apache.
