    I have been hearing the same stuff about alexa and I wonder if it still works? I have read a lot of topics about alexa and they say that the best way to increased ranking is through using its Toolbar in searching your site url.

    yeah I don't think Alexa is that accurate, considering you can boost your own ranking by surfing your own site for a while multiple times a day, but regardless it's an important thing to have especially if you plan on selling ad space!

    I think alexa ranking is somehow reliable because my website ranking improved from 10 million to 1 million in about 1 month but now the improvement has become quite slow because there are a large number of good websites.

    Here are some of the things you need to remember with regards to Alexa:

    Ranks Individual web sites.
    Rankings not on a specific numerical frame.
    Lower the rank, more the traffic.
    Concerned with traffic
