I hope you might find it useful. (google adwords)

So I have been advertising on adwords for a while now on my two websites, paying $0.10 per click. last week, google took my two sponsors listings offline by increasing the cpc to ($0.40), I didn't bother to change it cause i cannot afford $0.40, it's been like that for 3 days now, and all of sudden, today my ads went online again at $0.10.

So I guess you should just wait, don't simply increase your cpc when google adwords says so.

    Try it, it might work.

Are you in a niche that would be affected by increased advertising during the holiday season? That could account for the increase as advertisers were increasing bids to maximize exposure.

On the other hand, if that was the reason it would seem odd that it has come back down already.

    Any other theories?

Yes, just happened to all 3 of my keywords, not sure if it's the holidays, or could it be my competitors is playing with me by raising their bids.

    Very odd.

It doesn't sound that odd to me, nothing can stay the same for long, i imagine especially not with something like adwords.

It's strange... Based on my experience and previous encounters, once they are taken down, they remain so forever. I think Google never let you have your way when it comes to money.

Bids do fluctuate from time to time. I guess it depends on your competitors, your quality score, and search volume. Unfortunately, they go up much more often than down.

Yep it all depends on the amount of keywords searched and how google feels that day.
