I hope there is no war it Iran, but the way things are going with the uranium enrichment and the tough stance by the Iranian president IMO by the end of next year if the Iranians don't stop it there will be bombing on Iran's nuclear facilities.

I hope not either. Iraq was weak and couldn't really defend themselves, so they were much easier for the US to invade. Iran however is a different story. They are a much more powerful country. They have ties as well, they would probably make sure that our supplies for oil are eliminated. Plus, you would see major bombing on US soil as well. I think President Bush knows all this, and that is probably why he hasn't invaded already. I am hoping for peace.

It's a done deal. They got oil and terrorists, we're gonna bomb their *** until they embrace democracy, because we can't tolerate any other form of goberment. Haliburton stocks are still a great investment.
I am guessing Venesuela is next

Spoken like a true American... Bomb the sh*t out of somewhere without thinking until you get your way right? Well that'd be moronic, they won't be a push over my friend. It would cause WWIII.

I wish there is no bombing on Iran, but I don't believe Israel will let Iran develop nukes. No matter the consequences. Another point how many believe Islam is a religion of peace? Even the muslims themselves don't claim it is.

I hope there is no war there either. I've never ever "hoped" for one, and in an ideal world it would be wonderful if we never had another one. The sad reality is, however that sometimes, it cannot be avoided.

I am fairly confident Iran will fall on its own via a coup. Most of the people there love freedom, want freedom, love America, want to be like Americans, and hate their megolamanic wee bitch scank face of a dictator.

I read demosfen as being sarcastic as well ...

The point is, we knew that when the U.S. invaded Iraq that they'd have to deal with Iran. The problem is, Afghanistan and Iraq have turned into quite the quagmire, something the Administration wasn't expecting. If Republicans can keep control in the coming weeks, then I would expect that we'd continue on to Iran - whatever cause needs to be fabricated.

Democratic control will probably result in Iraq ending up like Afghanistan - not a victory, but not a never-ending piling of bodies ... I think everyone that's got their head on straight realizes that we've got to pull out of Iraq, but in such a way that we (the U.S.) can preserve face.

The way we can pull out of Iraq with somewhat "good face" is by asking Islamic countries to provide troups in Iraq for peace keeping mission.
US troops in Iraq are not viewed as friends. For as long as they stay in Iraq they will be a target for jihadists.
