Was hoping you seo wizards could help. Here are the two words I was told are taboo is this true. "best and free" used together is this true? and are there any others?
Probably not. Its the first I have heard of it. I'm number 2 in Google for "best free directories" and the site does quite well for many other search terms.
You've apparently never read the DMOZ description writing guidelines. Whether you think the DMOZ is a worthwhile organization or not, this is a must read for webmasters. In fact, read it twice! http://dmoz.org/guidelines/describing.html http://dmoz.org/erz/sites/title.html
Please excuse me but what are you talking about. This category is called "Keywords", not DMOZ titles or DMOZ descriptions. You info is applicable to submitting your site title and description to DMOZ but has little or no relevance here.
Yep, yes sir. You are dishing out some good advice. The fact that you can't connect the two is a terrible disadvantage. Too bad for you.
Please teach me since you are so wise. So you are saying that if someone with a large site uses 50 keyword phrases then they should go out of their way to make sure that none of the phrases use the words "best" or "free".
I'm not telling you anything. That's for you to decide. But anyone that wants to succeed should find that information useful.
