Right my blogs show this with every new article posted. You can see the time when post was indexed first. Sometimes I see even 1-5 minutes ago, depending on the ping frequency configured.
Sometimes google write "few seconds ago" and update search result page without erloading it. Ususally it's happen with news from twitter.
I think Google is trying to be closer to 'live search' so that people could choose the most recent articles/posts if they need them of course
Yes I do get the same thing soon after I post my blog post within 2 or 5 mins and says 5 mins ago. Its seems to me that Google must have indexed the page soon after the article is posted
whenever google updates the cache file on servers, it is time stamped. If the time stamp is within 24 hours, it includes that in the search result to show how recent it was updated.
