Have you see adsense like this? They are not premium publisher. Is it OK with TOS? Look at left column: the site is askbaby.com
Those are nice ads, but the way they are placed I am certain they are a premium publisher. Just because they have one site with low traffic doesnt mean they dont have a huge network of high traffic sites.
Hmm I dont understand this.. how could Google allow something like that, which clearly tricks users into thinking its part of their website and not an ad? The main reason Google bans is for that reason.
That website is what google calls "premium publishers" To be a premium publisher your site(s) must reach 20million views per month. Prem publishers are allowed to modify their code MUCH MUCH more then we are, I don't know the exact rules with prem pubs, but iv seen just about everything that would break our "regular pub" TOS with google.
Alexa? Pshaw. Think about it: the site's primary market is moms. Do you think many moms install the Alexa toolbar? Chew on that for awhile.
Definitely premium publishers. Alexia is often inaccurate especially about smaller sites. I wouldn't use that as a rule of thumb for the traffic a site gets.
