    Hi

I have one website. It got indexed by Google Looong time ago but NOT by Yahoo:mad:. What could be the reason. There are 400 backlinks to yahoo but indexed page is 0? I have submitted to Yahoo.
    Please suggests.

And Does Yahoo have spiders like google? How to make them crawl fast?

Please suggest and thanks for your time in advance.

You didn't get indexed why you got backlinks?

If you got backlinks your probably indexed. Go to yahoo and verify your site. this might help you. Yahoo sucks, they always take forever to index a new site. As mentioned above, a sitemap will help too.

Im saying that i disagree with the popular opinion on this forum about the SE. I do not think it is a good idea to let google and/or yahoo and/or msn know what site is yours...The SE guidelines say that it is best if they find your site naturally....which means through links from other sites...not by directly telling them...but just as everyone else, i do not know for sure...anyone have any comments?

I have heard this opinion from people before. I just do it because I read on google that it helps. But I could see why people would not want to verify. I would also have to agree that getting found naturally is probably better.

It is not true, It is not easy to be index in Yahoo and MSN but for Google you can easily get spidered within 24 hours

Get a spider by submitting your site to sitemap. This could be the fast method of being spidered
Here's where to get more information about submitting a sitemap.

    To Google: google.com/webmasters/sitemap
    To Yahoo: siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites
    To MSN:blogs.msdn.com/livesearch/archive/2007/04/11/discovering-sitemaps.aspx

Make sure you use Yahoo webmaster tools/sitemaps etc that should speed things up for you.
