Hi all I have two questions that I would like help with. 1. How do you reserach your chosen niche. What is the best way to go about this? I have a couple of chosen niches that I need to research a bit more but dont know where to start. 2. When it comes to niches is it best to choose something personal to yourself. i.e. if you are trying to or have lost weight in the past would the weight loss niche be good? Thanks in advance Jacqui x
1) Well I have my ways of finding certain, untapped niches, obviously no one will tell you how to find good niches, but once you've found one do some keyword research, find which keywords are best to target and which ones get the most searches. Then look at your competition in the search engines, check their backlinks, how strong they are etc. Its not easy finding a niche and doing all the keyword research, but if you do it correctly it can pay off in the long run. 2) I agree with people who say, choose a niche you know something about. Not only will you be able to add valuable input into the site if you know something about it, but your more likely to enjoy working with a niche you know more about, rather than a niche you have no idea about that you just chose because it pays well.
make sure it is some interest to you otherwise it becomes a chore doing the work. Like any job that you are not passionate about it ends up controlling your life and your thoughts become toxic with dislike so keep it to things you like but that many others would too. If you like worm farms it would best keep that out of your niche because it is not in many peoples interest categories
choosing niche according to ur site content, choose one related to ur site nature then check the popularity off the niche by digitalpoint keyword checking tool or use other tool . Then target some keywords not much competitive
