I have filed a case against Godrej in consumer court for faulty services. Now the date for the hearing is tomorrow. I have never been to a court i dont know a single thing about what to do and what to say there. So i need suggestions regarding the same. Anyone having such experience???
Don't know personally anything about this but as seen on TV you need to take original bill copy alongwith all corresponding letters (for dispute) and present there. You can also demand extra expenses alongwith original amount. BTW for which thing (item) you have filled a case against godrej ? DON.
I have already attended a court hearing and it made me nervous when I was being cross examined by the other side Just keep your cool and you'll be fine
Yes godrej's lawyer would want to tear you apart , so make sure you have got all the documents and give exact information.
I filed a case because of their non functioning refrigerator..... They are smart enough in this matter and already kept their repo clean. But still i believe that i have been cheated so a little bit tensed how will convince them....
Maybe they (godrej company) fail to do so thats why OP needs to go to consumer court. @OP - Now a days we can see ads related to this so many times on tv (Jaago graahak jaago) so don't worry and relax. Explain everything to them and thats all. DON.
The problem is that the piece, or actually that double door model is defective... they got a lot of complaints as told by the dealer. A good company is supposed to fix that but what they did is made a fool of us and managed to get past the warranty period. The fridge was not working as it should after the day we bought it. On complaining we got lots of excuses and assurances. They say that there was a minor gas leakage and that happens sometimes and with this excuse they made temporary arrangements to make the fridge working. After the warranty period is over, as the nature of a defective item, it always give me troubles. But they refuse to give any kind of support now. Thats what made me angry. Its clear that they were waiting for the warranty period to get over. If we see this from a third person's view, all things go in the favor of godrej but only i know that this is totally wrong. I wonder if i could explain this to the judge.
Good luck in court but I doubt they will rule in your favor. If you were unhappy with how they fixed it under warranty you should have let them know you wanted it replaced or fixed properly within the warranty period to cover yourself.
To quote judge Judy "if you tell the truth you don't need a good memory". Just present things as they are and let the court decide, that's why you are going. Good luck.
Just be honest. And bring paperwork. Print things out. It's better to bring waaay too much evidence than not enough.
