I am opening up a blog soon, and I am planning on hiring 2 friends to help me create it. I am going to be advertising and setting up the blog, and one of my friends will be writing the articles. I am also going to be building the backlinks for the site. What can my second friend do? I am sure there is something he could do for the site.... any ideas? Thanks, -Dillmando
You just need to make sure depending on what your blog is about you make sure you always have fresh content. Dont let it get old or outdated. Make one person be incharge of advertising, one in charge of imaging. And you just oversee the entire operation.
Your other friend good submit the blog post on various social bookmarking sites and help to gain traffic. He can also do link building by submitting to forums, directories, twitter etc.
By the way blogger is a best blog creating website.it really gives a lot of benefits while joining blogger.
Your friend can do is optimize your blog on page and off page SEO. And he can advertise the blog by telling his online friend by MSN.
You could get one of you dedicated towards buildnig backlinks to your blog, and the others should focus on content. Ensure you post a new post on a regular basis in order to keep people coming back. There's always things to do. I'll also assume that you'll be using a ready made blog script, so always ensure that you're using the most up to date version of the script too, make it someones responsibility to perform site upgrades as and when required.
Thanks guys, I think I am going to have my friend do all the social networking and bookmarking and @Grit, yes I am using wordpress.
Friend 1: Building content and researching new content <<--Critical component there. Friend 2: Backlinking 24/7 and while browsing sites I would have him contacting other sites and begin social networking tactics as well as a by-product of making contact with other people You: Keep learning and tell them to do the dirty nitty gritty work as you begin developing a knack of learning and giving clear direction to them.
