I have several You tube videos on my web page. i was wondering whether this was an infringement. Because i thought it was okay that they give u the erm to put it on your site. Is this okay?
ok, first of all, those videos are not youtubes's, they are videos uploaded by users "You" = You/me/us "Tube" = Watch, view, upload. Youtube holds no right to them. So i cant see why not. Its fine dude.
Officially, you can not legally deep link to copyrighted material. I remember a judge declaring this. Unofficially, they are hosted on Youtube, and it wouldn't make any sense to go after you and not youtube, so you're safe.
yea youtube provides the code you can embed into your website so there is no problemo....some "artists" don't allow it and then it doesn't work anyway ...
Yea youtube exists for that reason to spread their videos to the net, but you can't embed them onto myspace as you'll see it won't work.. As long as the videos aren't illegal its fine
It should be find as long as it's not things like TV episodes, movies or other ripped and pirated content.
Sure, there are lots of pages with youtube videos and youtube itself propagates that with their "embed" option.
there are so many you tube videos, I use a RSS feed on one of my site for vidoes all the time - since it was uploaded by users - the users are freely uploading the videos for use
