Hi, I am quite new to blogging. I have just set up my blog at http://whats-cooking.info/cookingblog (it's part of the free blog that comes with domain) What am I suppose to do next to promote my blog and generate traffic to my main site from there? I wish to change my blog's look and feel, any idea where i can get ready template? I also wish to add adsense to my blog, anyone familiar with the function of WP and where to find the relevant feature?
There are lots of resources for templates, just search wordpress themes in Google. Use Adsense Deluxe as your adsense plugin. It's pretty easy to use and works sitewide. Finally the number one way to promote your site is to write posts consistently and submit them to things like Digg, Stumble Upon etc. Content will bring visitors.
