I have read that the meta keyword doesn't matter for google

    Hi mates, I have read that meta keyword for google doesn't matter the most important is the content and the tittle tags and the description tags, but i don't know if some search engine use still keyword,now I'm building a travel web site I don't know if i have to put the keywords meta tags ,what do u recommend me ?

    That is True . Matt Cutts had said in post that meta tags do not matter anymore. I am not focusing on keywords anymore.
    Look at keywords in google webmaster. Google picks keywords from content.

    yeah! you are true, but what about the other seach engines like ask,bing,yahoo? is you have experience on your keyword tags with other search engines please let me know

    They account for less than 10% traffic. Why bother about them ?

    putting a meta keywords on your web pages would affect something in google? or it would be ok just with your tittle and description tags?

    I've used comments in the code like <!-- my special keywords --> instead of meta. Seems to help, but I haven't really checked if it makes that much difference or not. However, I do still update the meta tags.

    That is old news but they have recently restated it...

    Which has sparked some debate about misspellings etc, personally I don't bother with it and have not for ages now...

    That's not officially the case “Even though we sometimes use the description meta tag for the snippets we show, we still don’t use the description meta tag in our ranking.”

    Descriptions are good to provoke click thru rates tho... funnily enough keywords in the description helps with this...
