I have problem(2 accounts in paypal)

    I have a problem in my other account in paypal. The name I use is not really my name- its my brother's name but the spelling is not correct.

    Now it is limited already, they want me to send proof of billing and some other proof.

    What would I do?

    So is it your brothers' account or is it yours but you put his name down? :confused:

    You do know that each person can have two accounts, right?

    Did you for some reason forgot your own name when you signed up or you signed up with full intentions to lie about your application when you sign up for Paypal ?

    Your name and address in your account must match exactly to all the documents they require you to submit.

    Of course, you could submit your brother's documents and pray very hard that the one who checks your account is someone who is extremely stupid or sloppy and would overlook your intentional errors.

    No matter what, take this as a learning experience never to use details which is not yours.

    It is my intention to put my brother's name but unfortunately I used to write it wrong.:(:(

    I have no problem with the address..

    What if I will tell the truth to paypal??

    Well, officially you are supposed to use your own name and you cannot share a paypal account with someone else unless it is a business account.

    In short, only the actual person can sign up for their own paypal account and you cannot do it on someone's else behalf.

    You could try your luck and see what happens. Maybe you can say your brother is computer illiterate but needs a paypal account so you help him sign up for the account.

    I mean you can have two PayPal accounts in your own name.

    "PayPal allows members to have one Personal account and one Premier or Business account. However, each PayPal account must contain unique email addresses and financial information. You may upgrade your account at any time."

    I thought they only allow 1 account....

    I have $100 in that account.. Anyone tried the same problem before??

    Contact Paypal and tell them that you have mis spell your name
