I got 2 sales and 20 refs in a month. Anyone else ever wonder why sales are so small on this mall? I am thinking about upgrading (basically out of curiosity) I notice that 4 out of 5 times the first (initial) click goes to the site creators instead of me. I actually like the mall i just cant understand 7k hits and no sales, that strange. I figure if i can collect some of those diverted first clicks i can make a few bucks? Well thats a surprise to me. I visited this domain couple of days back and thinking this might be doing well over 10-12 sales a day and was planning to make a similar store. Well its for sure that I am not taking that venture in future but as you are already in. Try promoting some specific products by making banners for them and putting them on home page. You might be able to upsell something thats hidden somewhere.
Man thats bad. I've had a sale every day with only about 100ish visitors. Thats bad man, you should check out with clickbank.
How are you getting your traffic? Are you targeting products or promoting as a 'mall'? I agree that's a very low conversion, but such is the problem with trying to compete with mall type sites. They have their perks however also have consequences I feel, especially if it's a template mall... I'd also recommend cherry picking the best products or proven sellers, and focusing campaigns on those only. *The amount of traffic is kind of irrelivent if its international, not targeted, or just price shoppers. Targeted proven selling traffic+product should indeed get you at LEAST 1% conversions to sales (or 70 sales). Perhaps it might be something technical too, perhaps other affiliates stores override your hops, perhaps the 1 out of 4-5 gets cookied first, who knows technically wise... If I were you I'd set up a seperate campaign with a landing page not using the mall, just a one page offer focusing on selling one product with no other offers on the page. 7000 hops is a lot of lost money my friend. Some of the traffic is untargeted, but 80% is targeted. I went from 10-20 sales a month to nothing. I got this thing humming visitor wise and i own a 129mill result keyword phrase, i come up 1-3-4 and 7 out of 129 million on google. But no sales. When i try myself the house gets the credit 70% of the time on 1st clicks. I want to know that by going pro this will improve. I already get to get ZERO for the next clickbank pay period, the 1st time in a year. I love the product but man i gotta eat. This is not junk traffic, you can hit my sig and research the site, i own a little on searh engine results. Plus i have 3 decent domains pr3 and 4 and about 6 pages. Look at the results. And a bunch of great pr3-5 links pointing at them with matched link/site keywords.?? I am really at a loss, maybe its just my turn to get the small straw for awhile?
