I am looking for some gift related discussion forum list for link building, can anybody share any list or any tricks to get some?
You will need to find a quality link builder in that niche that can build you quality links... dont jump on these $5-$10 link offers, they are just spamming the internet, they may help in a tiny way, but you will never move up the seo ranks by doing untargeted link spamming... If you really want to make a dent, then find a firm that does eCommerce marketing... it may cost you a grand or two, now we find out how serious you really are... the first thing they will ask you is your budget, if you tell them $100, then they will tell you to have a nice day, and come back when you get serious about your budget... it can be the difference of standing still or moving forward.... If you want your business to go faster, and futher then the freebies, and link spammers, then you will have to put some money in your eCommerce site, and it is not how many backlinks you can get (most are worthless) its about quality of your backlinks, and these quality backlinks will move you faster, and futher ahead of any spammers eCommerce site...
I agree with dscurlock on what he said about hiring an experienced eCommerce marketing professional to help you with link building. The primary benefit you may gain out of this path is hiring an experienced person to increase the popularity of your site. If you decide to post in various online gift related forums, then you may not succeed much. You will also not be in a position to differentiate between the sites which are genuine and those which are mere spams. Hiring a professional will assist you in not just link building but also getting a good overall search engine rank for your site. It is also true that hiring a professional will require you to invest a bit on the higher side. Get your priorities right, set a goal for yourself and your site and then proceed in searching for a suitable eCommerce professional. Following this path is surely going to help you rather than opting to experiment with link building yourself. Hope my suggestion will help you.
thanks to all for reply....but I actually looking for some searching tips to find some related forum in Google.
The key is to keep your store front of other people at all times, such as adsense...as I was doing more research for my future ecommerce site, every site that i was going to related to ecommerce was showing google ads, and these ads were from those sell items in their ecommerce, so they are keeping their ads in view to people visiting these sites, and i would imagine these people have very large capital to do this, and if they are doing it right, then I imagine they are making large amounts of money also... So if you are starting off with little to no capital, then consider this, if your store is not in the eyes of others, then there will be no one coming to your store, go to related forums, blogs, put in your signature, offer advice, submit product info, submit reviews, articles, etc, over time people will get to know you better, and trust you more, and that is what it is all about...you can sell almost anything online, even if amazon already has it, but it is about knowing you, and are you a store people can trust... and you have to use caution with your store, it is something you can sink a lot of money into ie advertising, then before you know it, your store is in big debt, and you have not made anything... whatever it is you are going to do, think about it 10 times, get advice, think about it more, get more advice before you make that critical decision that could cost you more in the long run, and just do not throw ppc keywords out there unless you know what you are doing, if you got the money, then let the experts handle your marketing marketing campaigns, if you are doing free advertising, then stay on related forums, and try to stay on topic, thus making yourself an expert, and useful to others... and it is not aways 100% about price, who has the best price, not everyone shops on the lowest price possible... because if your prices are too cheap, then people will start to suspect, and wonder why your prices are too low, you have to have standards and stick to them... personally, sometimes it is about price...but honestly, I would rather support a local store, rather then walmart, and sometimes, I can only find what i need at walmart... offer quality original products, offer decent prices, not to high, not to low, offer great support... This is the type of business where you have to do lots of home work, and research.... if you are not willing to do this, or do it the lazy way, let me save you save time, don't waste your time getting into this business, you will just end up shutting down....with competition so high out there these days, the odds of succeeding just is not in everyone's favor...
